Extensive testing has shown us that PrimaLoftā Gold Hi-Loft Ultra insulation with Cross Coreā¢ aerogel technology is the best synthetic fill currently available for this application, highly thermally efficient even when wet, fast drying and resilient in the face of constant packing and unpacking it remains mobile enough for seconding steep pitches of climbing and wearing for long periods. With 120g/m2 PrimaLoftā used through both the body and arms the Alpamayo is actually slightly warmer than its menās equivalent, the Fitzroy.
A WINDSTOPPERā shell is totally windproof and exceptionally weatherproof, combined with our helmet compatible Mountain HC Hood it makes the Alpamayo amongst the most protective jackets of its type currently available.
